I was awesome in 1998 when an average night meant leaving a Jon Spencer show covered in shards of glass or shoplifting feathers from a WalMart to sew onto a tranny’s bra or fighting some hippies over a baby stroller in San Francisco and I guess if I’d known how boring I’d become I would have blogged then. But nowadays I mostly think about what to make for dinner, what to wear, my job, and my hair: wtf, so I guess this blog is mostly going to be about those things. I apologize!

I was reading your blog and I noticed that you had a copy of “Rattle Snake Hunting with Burl Fincher” he was a cousin of mine and I didn’t even know that video existed. Is there any way I could get a copy of it since he passed away earlier this year? I would be willing to pay for it.
Holy cow! I’m so sorry to hear that. I didn’t know him well but he did come into the library and I remember him as a pretty tough, awesome man. I will have to dig around for it, but I think I know where it would be in my house if I still have it- I’ve moved several times since my good old days in Eastman GA. Anyway, I’ll check after work. Sorry for your loss and believe me, if I find it, it’s yours. Shipping, etc., it’s all on me! It’s the least I can do. I never saw a live Eastern Diamondback (just one suspected) but if I did, I would have contacted Burl Fincher to take care of it pronto. I’ll respond tomorrow to let you know for sure. Thanks for writing, hope I can help.
Thanks it would be greatly appreciated. He was an interesting man to say the least!
I found it this morning!!!!!!!!!! If you don’t mind, I’m going to see if I can get it transferred to DVD here at work… it’sarare pieceof memorabilia from Georgia. If so, I’ll get two copies made and send both the VHS anda DVD copy to you. Just email librariansgonewild@yahoo.com with the address you would like it shipped to.
